He is currently located in Rutherfordton, NC where is foster has taken amazing care of him. Max is seeking an adopter in the Triangle area so that we can get him heartworm treatment. He is currently on the slow-kill treatment, and we will re-test and then do the fast-kill treatment if needed in his case. Max LOVES water, loves to play with the ball and is a good 2 year old GSD. All Animals Sanctuary & Rescue (AASR) provides all dogs with sterilization, and the following vaccines: Lepto, Bordetella, Rabies, & DHPP. All dogs are 4DX tested, which includes heartworm testing. If any parasites are found, they are treated, including heartworms. We are transparent about any chronic health conditions that are not treatable with acute rescue care.
