Meet Max!!! This handsome boy is a 1.5 yr old Golden Retriever and Lab mix, who is fully grown, weighing 45 lbs. Max was found as a stray and is now living in foster care. His foster describes him as a loving boy who has a medium activity level, He loves to play with toys and other dogs as well as enjoys going on walks/runs. Max is well socialized with, men, woman, & children and does fine with cats. He is crate trained and working hard on his house training. His ideal home would be a family, couple or single who will give him the love and attention he so deserves. A fenced in yard would be great, but is not an absolute. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
