Max

Max arrived today (April 30) at the shelter as part of our Traveling Tails program. He is from the Chilliwack Animal Control as they had too many dogs and our shelter had the space to take him. We are lucky with Max because we have a bit of a history from his owner about him. He and his sons got away from the owner and the owner decided only to claim one of the puppies and leave Max and the other pup behind at the shelter. He is incredibly sweet (as you can see from those big brown eyes) and appears to be good natured with other dogs. He is very obedient, docile and gentle. His breed is unique and as far as we know he is a purebred. It would be best if his new adopters researched his breed as he is a dog that is meant to heard and take care of his flock! Although he doesn't seem like that type of dog it is in his nature and will likely be seen in his normal day to day behaviour. We can't say enough how sweet he is and we hope he goes to his new home soon! Children 13+ years or older would likely be suitable. He will be neutered prior to adoption and is up to date on vaccines!
