Max

If you've ever had a lab puppy, you'll recognize Max! He's 2 years old and 60 pounds, with mega puppy vibes but many adult skills and manners really the best of both worlds. He is never not smiling. He's a great leash walker, potty and crate trained, sleeps through the night, loves water and adventures. He'd be a great hiking or running dog. He's extremely trainable he sits and lies down and stays, and even learned to run on the treadmill in about five minutes! Max is kid friendly and loves cats and other dogs. We have discovered that he's popular with cranky old lady dogs! He does need structure and training: while he would never hurt a soul on purpose, his energy can overwhelm some other dogs. But he's getting better and better at reading their signs, and with slow, on-leash introductions, we've been delighted to see him play off-leash with a variety of dogs.
