Matty was rescued from a bad situation in southeastern Virginia but he is ready for his fresh start and a brand new life. He is only 8 months old but is learning new things every day and has acquired good house manners, thanks to some good tutoring by his foster parents. He is very affectionate and friendly to all--good with other dogs and cats! His playful nature makes him an excellent family dog and he is grateful for any attention. He loves playing with dogs. He has many different play styles. Including tug, fetch, chase, soft, or rambunctious play, so he's great for any dog as he will match their play style. Once he plays or goes for a walk, he becomes calm and he will just chill on the couch. He loves to be next to you or lay in your lap. In just a few short weeks he has been potty trained, knows sit, down, and come. He has unlimited potential to be your next furry companion. So whether you're an active person and/or you have a dog that has a lot of energy and needs a best friend. Matty is your boy! Matty loves to ride in a vehicle and he makes an excellent companion whether he's on the road, talking a walk or just cuddling on the couch. His ideal forever home will have a fenced in yard where he can expend his puppy energy and play with a doggie companion. He is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and is neutered and microchipped.
