My Story

Meet Mate! Mate was abandoned at our Saving Hope Sanctuary with her littermates. We soon discovered that the entire litter was hearing/sight impaired. A few weeks later, Mate moved in with her foster family. Over the weeks, they discovered that Mate can see and hear! We don't know to what degree she has both senses, but we do know she behaves just like her typical 8 week old puppy peers! Mate LOVES to play with other pups! She loves to watch them walk by and then pounces on top of them! She likes to wrestle for a while and then find a toy to play tug of war with. She'd LOVE to have another playful furry friend in the home. Mate is making excellent strides in house training and when given many trips outside, she'll go every time. Like any 8 week old puppy, she's working on "holding it" in between trips outdoors. Mate is such a sweet puppy with her happy tail wags, playful nature, and love to snuggle. She'll make a fun addition to any home! Mate would really love a home that understands that while she is a puppy and she can see/hear some, she'll need extra care when adjusting to her new environment as well as learning new things.
