My Story

WE HAVE AN ADOPTION PENDING Dear Martin is about 10 years young and is a GRAND dog! He knows how to walk well on a leash, is house trained, gets along with other dogs and is also good with cats. One would hardly notice that Martin is almost completely blind, it does not stop this trooper from doing anything! Once he knows the lay of the land - he's fine and dandy, thanks very much! Martin is a gentle, sweet soul, who is VERY well behaved, adjusts without a fuss and has so much love to give. Martin has tons of kisses to share. It doesn’t bother him that his aim is bad so bring a towel. He can’t see but he knows the snow has fallen and is very happy to make snow angels but be warned Martin will drop down to perform his snow angel routine during his walk - his choice of location is not always sensible much to the delight of the neighbours – he’s a crowd pleaser. In the home he has very little demands and manages to navigate well finding food and water and his favorite rug. Martin will even manage to find you on the couch, and slide his way on, hoping you don’t notice all 100 pounds of him. Martin loves to be brushed and play with his favorite toy a dog rug knot. Martin is also great in the car and will happily stretch out in the back seat. He's neutered,up to date on vaccines and has had his geriatric blood panel done - all is well. Please do not overlook this gem If you are interested in Martin, please contact Speaking of Dogs Rescue
