Martha

Sweet Martha is a good girl. She is gentle, calm, and obedient, excellent with other dogs, kids and all kinds of people. She's a little zippy on the leash and could use a bit of formal training, but her foster is working on that. Here is what her foster had to say: "Martha is a pleasure to have, she is housetrained and great with people. All she wants to do is please you by doing the right thing, if you tell her no once she will always obey the rule. She is happiest when she is by your feet and snuggling into you. She is sweet to guests and is fine when I am not home, in the beginning I used to lock her in the crate when no one was home but I soon found out that she is fine to let roam around the house. She is happy to be around other dogs and is playful when she meets new dogs on walks, I even let her loose off the leash in the park and she stays close to me and plays fetch. Everywhere I go with her people stop to say hello and let me know how adorable she is. I would love her to go to a family where they can give her all the love she craves and deserves for being such an awesome lovable dog." Martha is a loving, affectionate "eager-to-please" companion. She would be best with other large dogs or as an only dog, and would flourish with an experienced dog owner who is used to setting boundaries. She will come spayed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and heartworm negative.

All of our animals come fully up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and dewormed, as well as neutered, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
