Marmee is the sweetest dog! She originally came from a home with 24 dogs loose on the property. Our team rescued all 24 and began rehabilitation efforts as all of them were flea infested and suffering from severe intestinal parasites, skin and eye infections and malnutrition. Marmee is very submissive and nervous around larger dogs. She takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but will make the BEST companion in a quiet household. Marmee gets very anxious when left alone and would prefer a household where her owners are home most of the time. We also believe a household with another, adult dog may help soothe her anxiety.
