Hi….my name is Marley. For me and my friend, Chewy, the recession is one of the best things that ever happened to us. Our owner is a backyard breeder, and we were spending our lives outside providing income by producing offspring. When puppy sales went down, she didn’t need us anymore and started looking for ways to get rid of us. Now we are enjoying the attention and care at TALGV and patiently waiting for a new home where “pampering” is the name of the game. My name might fool you, but I am a girl. I have now been spayed (Yea!), have all my shots, passed my vet check with flying colors, and look like a new dog after my professional grooming. I am a 6-year-old golden cockapoo and my fur is a beautiful golden color. We’re not sure yet whether I understand “housebroken”. Having lived outside all my life that wasn’t an issue. I have a sweet, gentle personality, but, like puppy mill dogs, have had limited experiences, so the TALGV folks are looking for loving, patient people who will give me the time, training and experiences to blossom and become acclimated to being your devoted companion.
