Marissa

Hi there ... uh, I am a little shy, but my name is Marissa. You are not going to believe this, but I have been here for almost 6 months, not because no one has wanted to adopt me; but because I have been waiting on the court system to decide my fate. Not only have I been waiting on court hold, but so has 6 more dogs and 7 puppies, all of us from the same house. The puppies were born here at the SPCA and I heard through the grapevine that most of them have all been adopted from Carroll County Humane Society. I am soo happy for them. I really want them to live a good life ... not what we had been living. None of us have had much socialization in our life, but the volunteers have been giving us lots of love and attention and we have warmed up to them in a hurry. In fact, one of the volunteers that comes here faithfully has told me that I am her absolute favorite. She is my favorite too .. I love her soo much. I am a female Collie/Samoyed mix and I am about 1 1/2 years old. I want soo much to be a member of a loving family ... because I am soo shy I should go to a home without small children. Hopefully I will be out of this shelter soon and living the life I have always dreamed of!!!!
