Marcel arrived at the shelter in rough shape. He was extremely thin, was missing fur, had horrible ear infections among other issues. Luckily for him, a staff member was able to take him home and help him on the way to recovery! After a few short weeks Marcel has put on weight, looks glossy and shiny and has more energy. Marcel is a wonderful dog who is good with everything, people, cats and dogs. He loves to go for walks, and is great on leash.
Marcel is looking for a permanent foster home, where he can relax and enjoy his twilight years. Marcel will be a long term foster through the shelter and we will assist with his medical bills. Please contact the shelter for more info on Marcel and to make an appointment to meet him.
All the animals that arrive at the Shelter are stray. The information that we have on the animals has been gathered since their arrival at the Shelter., and with the help of our volunteers. We do our best to assess the animals and disclose everything we know regarding health and temperament to interested adopters
Adoption applications are available at the Shelter only. The application review process can take between 24-48 hours. The Shelter does NOT do same day adoptions. We do not ship animals or adopt outside of BC.
