Maple
Breed
Chocolate Labrador Retriever, American Staffordshire Terrier
Thank you for your interest in adopting. All of our dogs live in Alabama foster homes and transport to New England when they are adopted. If you are approved to adopt one of our dogs, you will speak to the foster family and you can request FaceTime, video or more pictures once your application is approved.
Every dog is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, multiple dewormings, and pet receives parasite prevention. Dogs over six months are heartworm tested, and any dog that has been through treatment is fully disclosed with medical records.
All dogs live in foster homes, in a family environment. Every dog comes with its health records.
Maple was found stray in the middle of a highway overheated. We can only assume that someone opened their door and left her standing there! Cars were driving around this dog. Thanks to a Good Samaritan for stopping, Maple was rescued!
Maple is approximately 2 years old, she weighs 38 pounds, she will never grow larger, and she’s a real sweetheart! Maple is perfectly crate trained! We cannot believe someone Abandoned nice dog!
Maple lives in a foster home with an active couple and several other dogs of various ages and sizes. We prefer she go to a home with no dogs where she gets more attention.
We do not know how she is with cats, but we could cat test her. She’s going well with a small dog.
Since we do not have a long history on Maple, we prefer she go to a home with older children or no children is fine too.
We have been sending Dogs and cats to New England homes for 15 years. We have to pay a transporter for every dog we send to a New England home. We do not own the van or service. Every dog sees a veterinarian before they leave for a health check and health certificate, which also comes with a cost.
Total adoption fee for this sweetheart is $585.00. Hasn’t changed in years.
$345 adoption
$175 transport
$65 health certificate
