Hi! ...and thank you from the bottom of my heart for visiting my profile page! My name is Maple, and I sure do love to snuggle! I will fall asleep with my head on your shoulder, your lap, or anywhere else as long as you're nearby. I have one ear up - and one ear down, and my foster Mom says that makes me special. A little bit about my background: My siblings and I were born intothe Rescue after my pregnant Mom was abandoned alone and scared at a soccer park. Luckily, a very nice family took my Momhome and fostered her through AARF! My foster familytook very good care of my Momuntil I was born. Did you see all of my adorable baby pictures? Yup, I'm a cutie! I'm not very big - but my heart is GIGANTIC.I am a very loving girlwith a delightful personality - I make my new foster family laugh out loud daily with my silly facial expressions and clutsy moves. My foster mom says that I'm extremely bright and I learn new things very quickly - especially when she has treats for me! I've already learned many basic commands: I knowhow to "sit" and walk on a leash, I go into my kennel when directed verbally, and I am housetrained. Most days you will find me following my foster mom around, or playing in the yard. I love to go for walks and go for rides in the car. My foster family is wonderful, but the other pups at home are older and kinda grumpy - they don't much care to play or wrestle. So, if I had a family with another dog for me to play with, that would make me very happy! I would also be perfectly content to be an only dog - because then I won't have to share the love! I typically turn around seven or eight times before I find the perfect spot to lay down and will fall asleep quickly. Sometimes I sleep with my foster Mom, but I am also perfectly content to sleep all night in my crate. I'm not fond of water, but I love to go for walks in the rain. I'm currently looking for a new family who will give me lots of love, and is ready for me to give ALL my love to them. If my new family already has a dog for me to play with, that would be really nice. Of course, being an only dog would be great, too! Thanks again for stopping by! Love and kisses, Maple.
