Brandy and her two babies (Manda and Macy) are lucky girls. On 8/17/08 they were found in the middle of a country highway looking around as if lost. There were no houses around and when their foster mom came upon them they were literally walking down the middle of the road. Somebody had to dump these poor girls out and drive off. Brandy and her babies had cockaburs all in their coat and the babies had bloated bellies indicating worms.
When they were placed in their foster mom's car they were as good as gold for the 4 hour trip to safety. The babies had and bites all over their bellies but other than that they were good. They are sweet little pups that would make a wonderful companion for children. Brandy takes very good care of her babies. Manda is outgoing and friendly. SHe is also very curious of her new surroundings.
Manda deserves a home where she can be treated as a valued family memeber not a piece of trash to be hauled off and dumped!!!!
8/21/08 UPDATE- Manda and her sister Macy have found their family-they are being adopted together by a wonderful family in Asheville, NC. They will be leaving on September 6th. What lucky girls they are! Mom, Brandy is still looking for her very own family.
ADOPTION FEE: $150 (fully vetted to include her spay surgery).
