Hello, dog lovers! This is Malto. Our best guess is he is Maltese and Chinese Crested, could be a little something else mixed in. He has white/off white fur. His fur is a little course. Probably will get softer with a little tender loving care. He has dark spots on his skin like a Chinese Crested, the face of one, and his fur is sparse in places like a cross with a Chinese Crested. He is around 2 to 3 years old and is full grown at 10 1/2 pounds.

He asked me to tell his story for him, since he is so unique! Malto was dumped over our fence late one evening a couple of weeks ago. The people that came to close up the shelter, found him dirty and covered with fleas. They bathed him, and babied him, and he has been a happy dog ever since!

He came to us already neutered, house trained, and a lap dog. Who knows what happened in his little life? But he is such a sweet dog! He loves to sit in your lap, be carried around, and just loved! This is a very low keyed dog. Doesn't bark, not hyper.

Adoption fee for Dogs is $75.00.

All Dogs are heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies (if 6 months of age or older), and spayed/neutered (if 6 months of age or older) on date of adoption.


Note: Puppies not of proper age for spay/neutering (under 6 months) will require a deposit of $45.00 in addition to the adoption fee. Deposit will be refunded upon presenting proof from your Veterinarian that the alteration was completed. You may also make arraignments with us to use our shelters contracting Veterinarian at no additional cost to you.
