My Story

Mallory is a 1.5 year old, 52 lb, female Malamute/terrier mix. Mallory is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hello, my name is Mallory, and I am a very friendly girl that's just looking for love. I was born on the streets and I'm the only survivor of my litter (dad was a white Husky and mom a small pittie mix). I'm just over a year old and I am a pretty chill, medium energy dog. I enjoy playing with my toys, chewing on empty water bottles, and learning basic commands like sit, stay and down. I'm a smart girl so I'm happy to learn all kinds of new things! I'm doing well walking on a leash, I used to pull but now I'm past that, and let me tell you I love to go on walks! I would love to live in an active home where I can go on short runs, long walks or hikes, maybe even hit the beach or lake. I'm generally mellow, very sweet, and pretty quiet too, I hardly ever bark. I would really prefer to have a home with a backyard that I could zoom around in when I feel like it, or be able to romp around while it snows! Another doggy playmate would be great too, but I could also make friends at the dog park; I'm a frequent visitor to the dog park and I always have a blast! I'm great with younger and older kids too, while out walking, shopping or at the dog park, I'm always sweet and gentle with them, and I live with older kids. I'm affectionate and enjoy cuddling and pets from my people, and from strangers too! I am a love sponge, haha! I am potty trained, but I don't like my crate (though I am well behaved anyway) As a puppy I lived with cats, but I don't anymore, and I tend to get overly excited when I see them, so cats are probably out for me. Summer is here and it's so hot here in Texas for a doggy like me, I hope someone in a cooler area will take me into their home - I'd be thrilled to play in the snow! Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family's homes. Our $400 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip and transportation) If interested in learning more, please email us at [email protected] or fill out our online application. http://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp If interested in learning more about our adoptable dogs, cats and adoption process, or our foster home program, please contact us at above email. Due to the number of requests that we receive on our cats, kittens, puppies and dogs, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received. Once we send you an application, your place in line does not get reserved until your application is returned to us.
