Makey - Adopted

Makey was born around August 2008.

Makey was given up because they thought he was a Labradoodle and hypoallergenic, but that is not so. A family member had an allergic reaction to him and he sheds, though not excessively. We were contacted by a volunteer with a Labradoodle rescue about taking him since he didn't fall into their breed category.

Makey is an energetic fellow who settled right in with our other fosters and with the routine of our kennel environment. He will require basic obedience training, but he's very smart and catches on quickly. He has not shown any interest in cats.

Makey uses his doggy door to go outside so housetraining should go well. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. He will be microchipped before he goes home. He weighed 46.8 pounds on July 18, 2009.

Makey's adoption fee is $250.00.

Our Regular Adoption Events
We are at the Carmel/Westfield Petsmart (US 31 north) on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
We are at the Avon Petsmart (Rockville Road just west of Raceway Road) on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
We are at the Plainfield Petsmart (Washington Street/US 40) on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
We are at the Carmel Petco (N. Michigan Road) on selected Saturdays of each month.
