My Story

Who can resist Magnolia? Magnolia is a 4.5-month-old sweetie pie who can't wait to be your new adventure buddy. She loves cuddles and will never turn down some playtime with her favorite people. She is a confident girl who knows no strangers. Magnolia currently weighs around 40lbs and likely will be at least 60-70lbs when fully grown. Magnolia was born in foster care with her 8 sisters after her mom, Daffodil, was found as a very pregnant stray. An owner never came forward, so the puppies were born in foster care and separated into foster homes as pairs when weaned. Magnolia has been fostered with her sister and Petal, but they are looking for individual adoptive homes. One of Magnolia's sisters was DNA tested and the results came back as German shepherd, Australian shepherd, and American bully. Magnolia is a smart girl who is eager to learn, especially if treats are involved. She is looking for an active family who can provide her with lots of daily exercise and mental enrichment. Magnolia has learned some basic manners but her new family will need to be dedicated to continuing her training and socialization. Due to her size, Magnolia would do best with a family that has large dog experience. Magnolia currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and she would love another playful medium/large dog in her new home. She also could do well as an only child with lots of opportunities for socialization with other dogs. Magnolia has met a cat before and seems like she could do well living with dog-savvy cats in her new home with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Magnolia could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 10 years and older. Magnolia has been doing well with her housetraining, but she is still learning and her new family will need to be consistent about her house training. She has done well being crated overnight and in a pen with her sister when home alone. She hasn't spent too much time by herself, so she would need a family who can slowly get her acclimated to being home alone. Magnolia is a sweet girl who can't wait to start her life with her forever family. If you think that might just be you, submit an adoption application today! Magnolia 's adoption fee is $400. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption.
