My Story

Meet the one and only, Maggie! Maggie came to our rescue from a rural Utah shelter. She was surrendered due to her family moving and not being able to take her. And after some time she finally got to leave the shelter and into a loving foster home. Maggie is a very sweet dog. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and used to live with ducks in her old home. She's been nothing but respectful, dignified and hasn't barked once. Right now she lives in a foster home with a cat and has done exceptionally well with her. Other than the occasional moments where she tries to steal her food! She does have Pannus, which is an immune related disease that can eventually cause them to go blind. Right now Maggie has about 80% vision in both eyes but you wouldn't even tell just by looking at her. She get's around really well. She is on a permanent steroid eye drop that helps the disease not progress further. She'll need those drops for the rest of her life. And they range from daily to 3x a day. The steroids do cost $75 per bottle so please keep that in mind. Maggie is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped, and ready for her retirement home. If you feel like she might be a good fit for your home, feel free to reach out to schedule a meet and greet. She's currently being fostered in Ogden, UT.
