My Story

Hi my name is Maggie. I am a female English pointer mix who is around 2 years old. I weigh about 35 pounds. Everyone says I am a wonderful dog, who is healthy, loving, full of fun, loyal and most of all easily trainable.

__________________________________________ ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:::

To ensure the HSMC animals are placed into permanent homes, we have a few adoption requirements.
Potential adopters MUST::::
1... Visit The shelter.
2...Complete an adoption application.
3...Present photo identification with current address.
4...Provide verification that animals are allowed in your home. To do this, you must provide one of the following:
*****.Your landlord's name and telephone number and a renter's lease if available.
*****.Proof of home ownership (a deed, mortgage paper, payment book)
5... All family members who will be living with the animal must be present at the time of adoption.
6....Show proof that companion animals that are currently living in the home are up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccinations or your veterinarian's name and telephone number.

ADOPTION FEES

Dog $80.00

Cat (1year and over) $60.00

Kitten (5 - 11 months) $60.00

Kitten (under 5 months) $60.00

All adoption fees include sterilization, a permanent identification to help protect animals from loss or theft called a microchip, primary vaccinations and a certificate for a free veterinary examination. >

Our services don't come to an end once an adoption match is made! We continue our commitment to the animals by providing follow-up calls that offer individual support during the animal's adjustment to a new home. We also offer classes to teach basic obedience commands and our pet behavior seminars offer problem solving and prevention for owners or those considering adoption.
