Maggie is a friendly and curious 2-year-old, 60-lb. black lab. Maggie, as a pup, was adopted by AWF to a home in Marion. Unfortunately, several weeks ago one of our volunteers found out that Maggie had been taken to Cedar Valley Humane Society, where they were beyond capacity. CVHS agreed to release Maggie to our care and she is now in a foster home in Cedar Rapids. Maggie has a smiling face, kind eyes, is fully housetrained. She is very good with cats, birds, children and smaller dogs. Maggie is very quick to learn; walks well on a leash and loves car rides. Above all, she loves being around humans at all times.
