Madison-adopted

Madison is a 6year old spayed Female, 85lb RottixHound. We have only had her for 1 day but she is a lovely dog. She knows: sit,down, shake,come, kennel,wait,stay, bedtime.She walks very well on a leash. She slept through the night without a sound. She seems happy lazing around the house and is calm and gentle. She will wait by the door if she needs to go outside.She has a protective instinct in her. If we are in our living room she is laying by the doorway where she can see everything. Madison needs to be supervised around cats and small animals.She has prey drive and will try to go after gophers, cats etc. We will be working with her constantly on this.

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!ent with this boy.
