Greetings, potential adopter! I'm Macey, a one year old, terrier mix gal, weighing in at around 30 pounds, and I'm looking for my forever family. I was found wandering in the woods with a buddy. I was exhausted when I finally got into my foster home, so my new foster mom let me curl up next to her and we took a nap together. It was heavenly! I'm almost house trained and I am calm and comfortable in my crate. I am a master on the leash, and I love to go on walks. I may be a little shy at first, but once I know I can trust, I warm right up! I get along with other friendly dogs about my size and with dog-savvy cats too. Of course slow, proper intros are always advisable. I get along with respectful kids too, though super energetic kids scare me a little, so older kiddos might be best. A house with a 4-foot chain link fence is my ideal playground. No apartments for this adventurous spirit! I would love to find a family who will take me on adventures to dog-friendly places.
