Hi! My name is Mac and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I've been at the shelter since May 28, 2024. I'm a big sweet goofball that loves to give hugs and play with plushie toys! I can be a bit neurotic and am easily spooked, so I take a little bit of time to warm up to new people and feel comfortable in new environments. Once I trust you I'm the snuggliest little butterball and will be in your lap constantly! I'm very treat motivated and already have some basic training under my belt! My ideal home would be with patient and understanding humans that can help show me the world isn't so scary. I would do best as the only pet in the home, and due to my size and how easily startled I am I would not do well in a home with young children. I could also use help losing some weight to help me live a longer happier life! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve. MAC'S ADOPTION FEE: $325 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Mac and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet!
