UPDATE Dec 27: Luther's opawration turned out to be a little more involved than expected as he actually had broken bones and not just a dislocated hip...but all went well and everything is going to be right in this sweet boy's world from now on. :)

---------------------------------------
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful. What a gorgeous boy! Luther was a family surrender as he got bigger than what they were allowed at their apartment complex. From the surrender papers he is part chocolate lab and part husky. He looks like a chocolate lab with one blue eye and one brown eye. He has a foot with white toes and a white blaze down his chest.

What a nice boy, he is house broken and is getting along really well with all of the other dogs at the shelter. He has a dislocated hip though so his rear right leg doesn't work wonderfully, but we will get the vet to look and see what is needed.

Poor baby, he is the nicest most unassuming guy ever. But the most amazing thing is how SOFT his fur is!! You just want to pet him forever because he is so soft and he would probably be okay with you petting him forever too! Will update when we know more about his hip.

Luther's adoption donation is $85 which includes age-appropriate vetting. Please call or e-mail the PALS contact information located to the right to find out more about making this sweetheart a part of your family!

Please be patient with us - we're taking care of a lot of furkids - our own and the PALS kids - and we are all volunteers with families, homes and full time jobs. We'll return email and phone inquiries just as fast as we pawssibly can. Thanks!

ADOPTIONS: We don't let the fact that you might live out of state stop any adoption that's meant to be, but you MUST be willing to drive, or fly, all the way to pick up your new family member.

ADOPTION DONATIONS: Adoption donations for PALS animals go directly either to medical care for those or other furkids in need, or towards maintenance, supplies, and improvement of the newly-built shelter!
