We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested Currently Living at: Overcrowded Texas shelter. Scheduled to arrive in the DC area on Saturday 8/3! Lura is Looking For: Her forever home! Lura is one of over a thousand animals in a shelter so far south in Texas that it's less than 30 miles from the border. She has very little chance of being adopted there - and she's so awesome, shelter staff highlighted her in hopes of helping her get a home in the DC area. Lura is eagerly looking forward to her new chapter. The one where she gets her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her family can dream up. She is looking forward to making new pup and people pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see what she likes best, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well.
