This lovely lady is Luna Marie! Luna Marie is estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs just under 50#. Luna Marie is looking for a family where she can be the only dog in the home. She does seem to enjoy the company of other dogs and has played well with them in doggie playgroups, but in a home environment she seems to start resource guarding against other dogs. Though it did not work out with the other dog in the home, the foster still had wonderful things to say about Luna Marie! Her previous fosters described her as a great dog who is housebroken and loves to cuddle on your lap for a nap. She also loves sunbathing outside on the desk! Luna Marie loves a good snack, and while she did not try counter-surfacing, if food is left close to her level she can't help but try to sneak a bite! Luna Marie would bark initially when people came to the door, but once they were inside she would run and grab a toy and offer it to them to play! Luna Marie would love to be resting easy in a foster or forever home! If this sweet girl has captured your heart come out and meet her! Luna Marie is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
