I don't know how I ended up at the shelter, especially since I'm such a good girl! But I'm really happy to be with my foster mom and I can't wait to find my own forever family. Let me tell you a little about myself! I am a "medium sized" girl, I weigh a bout 27lbs. I have a soft, thick, fluffy coat and funny little fold over ears. The shelter staff labeled me as a "chihuahua/heeler mix" but foster mom says I look like I have a good amount of sheltie in me, and after checking out pics online, I think she's right. I am a smart girl - I've only had one potty accident in my foster home and I am good in my crate. I like car rides. I am also lovely on leash and would be a very nice walking partner. I am not a barker, I'm very quiet overall, although foster mom says I do talk a little when I'm playing with friends. I like other dogs a lot and play with my dog friends both big and small! A doggy sibling in my home would be fun - although it's not a requirement for me. I love my people best of all and would be fine as an only doggo. As long as I have a person to love, I will be a happy girl! I am VERY snuggly and would love to be your couch buddy. If I have any challenges I suppose it would be loving my people too much. I have heard it called "resource guarding"sometimes I just want all your love for myself. I'm good to share, though, if I need to. You can just tell me and I will listen.
