Luna

Pictures don’t do this grey eyed beauty justice. Luna, a one year old pit mix who weighs 48 lbs, was rescued from a kill shelter on June 29th. She’s incredibly sociable, and gets along with new people, dogs, cats, and chickens! Not sure how she is around children, but she has yet to meet someone she didn’t love. In the past two weeks, she has made AMAZING progress. She is responding well to her new housebreaking routine. She learned the commands sit, here, bed and down; but we are still working on 100% compliance. She loves to be outside and walks nicely on a leash. She loves to explore her new world and looks to smell everything, so we are working on the command heel and to walk by your side. She would do best in a home with a yard and/or a regular routine to reinforce housebreaking and for exercise. Luna’s favorite pastimes include chewing on bones, playing chase with other dogs and cuddling up close.
