Introducing the sweet, cuddly, and fun-loving Lulu! This gorgeous girl is cat-friendly, dog-friendly, and kid-friendly, the trifecta of a perfect family dog. Lulu has a beautiful, shiny black coat, with only a tiny little patch of white on her chest. She is a true stunner!
Lulu is a very sweet girl who loves being with her people. She loves to cuddle up on the couch for pets and movie time. She also enjoys getting onto the trampoline with her 12 year old human foster sibling. Playing tug-of-war, fetch, and going on walks are a few of her favorite activities. When its time for her to hang out by herself, she loves to chew a bone in her crate.
Lulu loves the water! She loves to splash around in a pool and bite the water as it sprays out of the hose. Baths are easy for her, due to her love of water, making it an easy process for you or the groomer. Lulu is a nice medium energy and would love to have a fenced yard to run around in, or to go on hikes and adventures.
Lulu is a smart girl who is already potty trained and crate trained. She could use a little leash polishing, but shes not bad on leash. Shes an easy rider in the car, making road trips enjoyable for everyone. She knows to sit and wait for her dinner patiently too.
At about a year and a half, she weighs around 45 lbs and is full grown. We think she may be a Lab/Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, but with rescue it's just a guess. She is a perfect medium size to join you on all of your adventures, but still cuddle up the couch for cuddles.
Lulu currently lives with a cat and will even cuddle up with the cat. She also lives with two other dogs (including a small dog), a guinea pig, and a 12 year old kid. Lulu will probably do best with older kids as she is still young and can be a bit mouthy and jumpy still. She is still learning her manners and will need an adopter that can keep working on those things with her.
Lulu is as loyal as it comes and she loves her humans with all that she has. You wont find a better best friend than her. Dont wait; apply now to bring her home!

*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program, prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
Three Little Pitties Rescue just celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 11,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
