Lula

Lula has a lot of things on her wish list. She’d love more bones to chew on, squeaky toys, and a new stuffed squirrel to play with! But number one on her list is a warm home to call her own. Lula has been working so hard on her training and we’re all so proud of her! She knows sit and paw now She loves to run over the ramp a generous donor built for the Sanctuary. Her favorite part of the day is when a volunteer visits her to take her on run! Lula is continuing to work on her leash skills and has been doing very well with a harness or halti. We will contribute to training costs if needed. One of our volunteers has taken Lula home for a break from the shelter. She is a fabulous house guest! She is more than happy to lay with you on the couch and chew a bone while watching TV. She also loves looking out the window and watching all of the people and critters that pass by! If Lula is left alone in the house, she continues to be our good little girl. She is given the run of the house and has had no issues. Lula is an absolute sweetheart once she feels comfortable with you. Lula’s ideal family is active, dog savvy, and has no other animals. Older, dog savvy female children only.
