Luke

Luke is a sweet border collie puppy. As of 8/17 he is 11 weeks old and looking for a forever home. Luke has been living in a foster home since he came to the shelter at 5 weeks old. Luke is a very active, happy go lucky puppy looking for an active forever home. We are pretty sure Luke is a blue and white border collie mix. This means he will likely be a medium to large sized dog with a lot of intelligence and energy. Border collies are not your typical family dog, they need lots of activity and positive training to keep them happy, he already knows 'sit' and is working on his leash manners. Luke will need daily activity (hikes, jogs, bike rides, training, etc.), and it won't matter to him if it's raining or snowing! Border collies also have a tendency to want to herd, whether it's kids, cats, or other animals. Luke is working on potty training at his foster home using a crate and he gets along well with the two adult dogs in the home. Right now he is all about playing, chewing, eating and sleeping a little bit in between all of those other activities.
