Luke was found abandoned on someone's porch when he was barely 5 weeks old. Since then he has been living in a foster home. As of 7/27 Luke is 8 weeks old and ready for adoption.
We are pretty sure Luke is a blue and white border collie mix. This means he will likely be a medium to large sized dog with a lot of intelligence and energy. Border collies are not your typical family dog, they need lots of activity and positive training to keep them happy. Luke will likely need daily activity (hikes, jogs, bike rides, training, etc.), and it won't matter him if it's raining or snowing! Border collies also have a tendency to want to herd, whether it's kids, cats, or other animals.
Luke is working on potty training at his foster home and he gets along well with the two adult dogs in the home. Right now he is all about playing, chewing, eating and sleeping a little bit in between all of those other activities.
