I've been hanging out with my foster family and wanted to share what they've learned about me: "Luis is mostly housetrained. He's had 4-5 accidents in the house since we've had him. He is doing well in the crate, making it through the night with no accidents from about 9:30 p.m. until about 5:30 a.m. He is still shy when meeting new people; however, he has come a long way. He no longer runs away when we go to put his leash on, and he has become quite the snuggle pup with us. He is good at meeting other dogs and is very interested in them. He plays really well and respectfully. While we don't have a cat, we have a guinea pig, who he does not get too excited over actually, he goes to the crate and the guinea pig comes to the edge of the crate and Luis gives a respectful lick (it's definitely not a taste). We have a 12 and 14 year old and he is great with them. My niece and nephew were here (3 and 5), and he was very good with them (they are dog-savvy kids). With the proper introduction, I do think little kids would be okay as long as Luis has time to adjust and his safe place to be. He loves his walks and being outside. I work from home and my deck is my office in the summer. He just loves being out there and in the yard. He is starting to get playful and has enjoyed his chew toys. Luis' perfect day would be a few walks, time lounging outside, a little chew toy time, and some snuggling at the end of the day. I think he would love to have a fenced in yard he could have access to. If you are looking for a sweet pup, who is gentle, smart, and loves to be active Luis is your dog. He is a beautiful dog. His belly has dots on it, which reminds me of dot art when the kids were little. Luis's special talent is being the sweetest dog!" Man, they sure think I'm pretty awesome! I’m around 7.5 months old and the perfect size for snuggling! Because I'm still young, I'll need time and patience to learn all the things I need to know like how to walk on a leash, sit, wait, housetraining, and maybe even some really cool tricks! I promise to pay attention when it's time to learn all these things and will be extra attentive for some treats!
