Then check out this opportunity to FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT with Canine Haven Rescue! We are a foster-based rescue organization in the GTA. We can only help bring these dogs out of the shelter and to Canada if we have a foster (or foster to adopt) home for them. Fostering is free, all supplies are provided, and you get the opportunity to help a deserving dog! If you foster to adopt, you will have the option to adopt after approximately 2 weeks. LUELLA Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Unknown Good with Kids: Yes Housetrained: Working on it! Crate Trained: Yes Leash Trained: Working on it! Energy Level: Med Health Concerns: Treated for Ehrlichia Additional Health Concerns: Luella has an old break in pelvis that has since healed. X-Ray (1 image) was taken and DR reviewed it on 2-13-2024 and commented that they suggest leaving it and managing symptoms with Glucosamine/Weight Management and Pain Meds as needed as she ages. She has a slight limp that does not deter her from living life to the fullest. HW Status: Negative Spay/Neutered: Yes Current Living Situation: Currently sharing a pen with Ava, a 1 yr old, Female, Aussie Mix and doing well. Meet Luella! Luella is a very calm, natured and an extremely sweet low/medium energy gal. Luella gets along great with the dogs she has been placed in pens with, including her current pen mate who is a young, higher energy, playful pup.
