Lucy

********LUCY HAS BEEN ADOPTED.********* Rescued from a local shelter at about the age of 4 to 5 months, this sweet little girl was extremely quiet and extremely gentle with her foster mom's children. Thank goodness her rescuer recognized what a really great dog she is. She also recognized that Lucy is gonna be a huge when grown, and realized that whoever adopts her would need to be sure they have the room for her in the house as Lucy loves being in the house. Her foster mom said this about Lucy, "She really wants and, I think, needs to be around her family." This is what Lucy's new adoptive mom had to say about Lucy, "I took Lucy on a 2-1/2 hour car trip to see a friend of mine. We stayed overnight and came back today. She was PERFECT!!!!!!! I love this dog! We at ARFA just LOVE happy endings!

Note: All applications are processed in the order received, but an adoption is made to the best application received for each of our animals. All applicants must provide a vet reference on the adoption application. If you are adopting a dog from ARFA, a fenced in yard for the dog will be required. Home visits often occur on each adoption. ARFA has the right to deny adoption to any applicant for any reason without explanation. Please remember that the adoption fee is not for purchase of a dog, but rather to cover the medical cost of all dogs in our care.
