My Story

Lucy is almost 6 months old, weighs around 25lbs and has the most lovely long legs. She will likely be a medium size dog fully grown. Lucy loves to be a part of whatever you’re doing. Watching tv? She’s there chewing on her bone or stuffy. Taking a walk? Great! Lucy loves taking walks and finding the best sniffs. She walks well on a leash, but she does still have an occasional puppy moment and will try to grab the leash. Nobody is perfect tho. And she is very easily redirected. She is quickly learning the basics like come, sit and leave it. She is very eagar to learn and fun to teach. Lucy is a bit cautious meeting new people, but if allowed a couple minutes and not pressured she warms up in less than 5 minutes. That’s when her silly and loving personality comes out. Lucy loves her belly rubbed the mostest. She is such a cuddler and will fall asleep immediately if you let her into your lap for belly rubs. Lucy can be the same with other dogs, but once comfortable she gets along great with dogs of all sizes. Lucy currently is fostered with a female chihuahua (her fav playmate) and 2 large dogs. One each male and female. She has shown absolutely no food or toy aggression. Lucy is potty trained when kept on a schedule. She is crate trained and did I say loves cuddling!? Please give this sweet girl a furever home. Lucy is available for adoption through Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. Fostered in Kenosha. Lucy is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $425. To apply please visit mapawsmepetrescue.com All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.
