My Story

This sweet giant red dog walked into someone's yard down near the Arizona Mexico border. She worked her way to a rescue down there who has fifty animals already in rescue and most of them are small. She needed someplace to go where she would fit in better, so she came to the giant schnauzer rescue. Lucy or Red as we sometimes call her, is getting some obedience training. She is a gorgeous dog and a real eye turner when people see her. She is just waiting for you to come and visit her and see how beautiful she is. She will steal your heart quickly!

We don't know for certain what breeds she is a mix of but she has the face of and Irish terrier but the size of a wolfhound. She walks fairly well on a leash and loves to ride and be with a person. She needs a job. She would love to be someone's companion and might make a good dog to jog with but we have just taken her into rescue and don't know all that much about her yet. As we learn more about her, we will post it here. We think Lucy is about one year old. She is starting to learn a few commands such as sit.

Red or Lucy as she is called is beginning to learn some commands. She is responding well and would love to have you continue her training. She has a tremendous zest for life.
