Meet Lucy! When it comes to that perfect family pup, Lucy can't be beat! She's a five-year-old, 50 pound darling who was sadly surrendered when her family moved out of state. Let's show her that her best years are still to come! From the moment Lucy arrived, she instantly became a volunteer favorite. In spite of losing the only family she's ever known, her kind nature shines through with everyone she meets! When she extends her paw to you in friendship, you'll melt like the rest of us! She's lived with young children and done excellent with them. Lucy also loves cruising the yard hanging out with her fellow kennel mates. Not only is she a beautiful brindled baby, she has so much going for her! Lucy is a very smart, capable girl who is house-trained, crate-trained and knows several commands including sit and shake. She's awesome on her leash and even enjoys car rides. She is ready and willing to be your copilot anywhere you'd like to go! We just cant' get enough of her wonderful ways! Based on our evaluation, we fell Lucy would do well in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up.
