My Story

Lou's owner passed away from breast cancer about two months ago.  Lou really had kept her spirits up with regular visits while she was in hospice.  He would burow under the covers to keep her company!  Since the mother's death, the daughter had been taking care of Lou, but her son, has many allergies, one being dogs.  She was desperate to find a dice home for him.  Lou is a nice 'house' dog and VERY well trained.  He will stay off furniture.  He has not had one accident since he has been in foster care.  He is crate trained.  He likes very little table foot and isn't a big beggar.  So very polite.  Only 41 pounds.  When you leave the house, he will woof several times to tell you goodbye!  He gets along okay with the other dogs, but I believe that his level of tolerance for young playful dogs or small kids wouldn't be great.  So probably kids over 10 would be recommended.  He would definately love to be an only dog to a female person (he loves women)  He is 8 years old but looks and acts younger.
