Lorelei

At the shelter she was absolutely terrified. Her kennel was right by the hallway entrance and she seemed to be very scared by the door opening and closing and not knowing what would happen or who was coming in. She paced constantly and lost 15# off her entrance weight of 63# in just a month. She is still a bit timid around doors opening and closing, but comes in with the other dogs from the yard when called. She has gained weight nicely and has a beautiful black coat. She eats well and goes to her kennel for meal time. She is currently a member of a pack of 7 dogs and does very well. She is submissive and doesn't want any trouble. She LOVES to be outside and bask in the sun. She was very timid when she came to foster, but with time and a foster transfer of a little male growly terrier she has settled into the home's routine and loves to be close and snuggle into her humans. She gives the sweetest little tentative kisses! She is potty trained, kennel trained, does well on leash and know sit, stay and wait. She doesn't dig in the yard, counter surf or jump up on furniture. She asks to come up on the couch. She is a very good girl, needs a calm home, and will make a great add to your heart! Lorelei was at the city shelter and deemed a potentially dangerous dog. Her owner could not comply with the city ordinance to keep her so surrendered her. Lorelei has since been in foster and other homes without issue. She will have to be in a home outside Wichita City Limiits. Adoption Fee: $200 - Includes Spay/Neuter, Microchip, and UTD on all vaccines.
