Longmire is a medium-size hound, about 50 pounds, with unusual coloration for a hound, black and brindle. He is one to three years old and walks quite well on leash, although he does pull some when he sees something interesting ahead. He is somewhat house trained and should learn quickly when he can get outside more. Longmire loves everyone, people and dogs, and should do well with children because he is gentle and sweet. He does jump occasionally so should probably not be with really small children. He does love to explore his surroundings and would love to have lots of long walks and might be a good running companion. Longmire would love a forever home with a big fenced yard so he can run off his energy and a dog buddy or some kids to run and play with. And lots of belly rubs when he is with his family.
