Lola

Lola is a beautiful Boxer about two years old. She entered Arf-Anage after having a liter of pups last Fall. (Early photo attached) She came into my care mid July, and got along great with the other dog here. She was super sweet and friendly - which means I made the cut in her opinion. As visitors come to the house, she can be vocal, so we are working on her first contact impressions and proper social behavior in public. She is somewhat of a tease as her bark is often accompanied by a tail wag. She did not seem to react to kids at an adoption event, but kids and cats are not something I have opportunity to expose her to. She knows several commands (treat motivated), along with the sound of a ice dispenser! She is crate trained and enters her crate willingly. She is super curious and a quick learner. After watching the other dog use a doggie door, she soon followed. No food or toy aggression shown. She pretty much goes with the flow of her surroundings. When there is a playmate around, she is super active running and playing in the backyard. But also seems content to just chill and relax in the a/c while I work from home. She will sit on the couch and look at you like she is 'judging' you, appearing to be almost human when she sighs and turns away. (If only she could talk.)
