My Story

I’m Logan, just a frisky little baby boy looking for a forever home! Since I’m only about 2-3 months old, I don’t have a whole ton stuff to tell you about me. But I can tell you I toddled off for an adventure one day, got lost and ended up in a shelter. Nobody ever came to get me.

One of my parents was a Lab; not too sure about the other. Until my Safe Harbor foster mom took me in, no one had time for little me. My foster mom, who’s a professional trainer, is teaching me about housetraining, the cozy crate, chewing my own things, basic commands and generally how to be an excellent little boy. We snuggle together and she tells me I have sweet puppy breath. My big foster brothers and sisters are teaching me good manners with other dogs. Even though I’m tiny, I do have my own opinion about things. And I can tell you I feel strongly about being loved forever by you!

Please note: Puppies, while adorable, are not for everyone. Think carefully if your lifestyle has room for the extraordinary responsibility of raising a puppy. Do you truly have time for the daily nurturing and constant supervision required? Do you mind piddles on your floor, chewing on your things and, before you know it, a “teenage puppy” with ideas of his own? The proper handling and socialization of a puppy are critical to their development into a well adjusted adult. As they grow they will require your steady, kind leadership, commitment to their training and rely on you for their extensive daily exercise needs.

If you would like Logan, a “dog to be” to consider your application, please tell us why your home would be suitable for a puppy in the comments section of your application.

Logan will only be placed in a home with (1) adults or older children who can treat a dog with kindness and respect and (2) one that clearly has the dedication and substantial time throughout the day to devote to raising a puppy to responsible adulthood.
