Who can resist 60 pounds of sweet Chocolate, especially when it’s a one year old Lab named
Logan! With his striking eyes, shiny coat and endearing puppy-ish ways, he’s hard to resist. Logan’s foster mom is getting this youngster off to a terrific start after a life of neglect. Little Logan was found wandering stray in the countryside with his collar painfully embedded in his neck. His neck is healing well after the collar was carefully removed; now his unflappable spirits are soaring at the prospect of a loving forever home.
Eager to please Logan is house trained, comes when called, is learning leash manners with a Gentle Leader and to wait at curbs. Greeting manners need some work. He loves long walks where he finds everything interesting -- squirrels, birds, people -- and sometimes wonders why you’re so slow! Balls are a bit of a mystery. Logan loves to be petted and stroked behind his ears and chills out to enjoy the attention. Be ready for a little bump and a look that says, “More please!” When his foster mom puts on her shoes and socks, Logan’s right there to help with little nips of silliness and excitement.
Logan gets along well with other dogs, but mostly he’s a people lover. He’s a bit sad to see his foster mom go in the morning and is thrilled to see her when she gets home. How he loves to sleep at the foot of her bed without a sound all night long. Young Logan likes to be wherever you are and have a paw in whatever you’re doing, unless it involves the vacuum cleaner or blow dryer!
Chocolate puppy love on four legs, Logan is waiting for a well loved life with you.
