My Story

Meet Livvy! Livvy came to CCHS when she was found as a stray in the Willard area. Livvy is about 4 years old and weighs 38.8#. She is a Blue Heeler, and has a short-haired coat that's black with merle and tan on her feet. Livvy was pretty scared when she came to the Shelter, but she's now learned that we are OK people to hang out with. She was very quiet at first, but Livvy has now found her voice and we know she can bark! Livvy will do best in a calm home where there isn't too much going on to overwhelm her. She has so much love to give, she needs to find her perfect new family. If that's you, please apply for Livvy today! Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $100. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.
