My Story

ADOPTED! - Hi Everybody! My name is Little Brown Bob. I'm so sweet and fun-loving--and did I mention I'm irresistable, with a cute little underbite? I love to cuddle with my people, but I also enjoy running and playing. I like to go to the dog park and I regularly attend doggie day care, so I am very "dog smart" and I know how to get along with lots of different kinds of dogs. (Cats don't like me so much, though....I guess I'd better go to a home without cats. Oh well....You can't please everybody ALL of the time!) My foster mom also says I'm very smart and would do great in agility. I'm the perfect size (I'm 18" to the top of my back and I weigh 24 lbs.) And since I'm just a young dog (I'm about two years old), I would love to have another dog to play with and a safely fenced yard (not invisible fencing). With a fenced yard, I can get the exercise I need--and then I'll be ready to snuggle beside my owner on the couch while we watch TV in the evening! I love to play with older kids, as long as they treat me gently and with respect. But I don't want to be a latchkey dog, so an owner who is retired, works part time, or works out of his/her home would be ideal for me. I've been neutered, wormed, heartworm tested, microchipped, and immunized--and my adoption fee is only $250. If you are interested in possibly adopting me, please e-mail my foster mom at: [email protected] and tell her a little about yourself, your schedule, and your living situation. Then, if she feels you would be a good fit for me (and if she thinks that I would be a good fit for you) she will e-mail you an adoption application.
Please click on "One Starfish Rehoming Connections" above the photo to read more about our rescue's adoption policies and fees. We do not operate a humane society or shelter, so we do not have a facility that is open to the public. Our dogs are fostered by volunteers in private homes, and are not available for viewing until an adoption application is filled out and references are checked. Please read the information on our home page (by clicking on our rescue name above this dog's photo) before contacting us.
