My Story

Little Bear is 14 months old in these pictures taken June 3, 2010 and was born in February 2009. He is a sweet little guy once he gets to know you. Until then, he just stays back and barks at you. Give him a few treats and he soon becomes your friend. He is only shy because he has not met very many people other than his owners and the LP volunteers. We do not recommend Little Bear go to a home with small children as he does nip when he is nervous.

Little Bear does enjoy sleeping with his human and getting boiled chicken as a treat. He needs work on a leash and is paper-trained.

Little Bear and nine other dachshunds came to LP because their owners realized that they just had way too many to care for. The dachshunds spent most of their time outside but did stay some in the garage too. They are not housebroken.

Little Bear is up-to-date on all of his shots, is neutered, and Heartworm negative. He weighed 9.7 pounds at the vets and is on HW preventative.

Adoption Fee is $75.00
