Weighing 33 pounds, Lily is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a calm and relaxed lifestyle. She's not much for playing with toys, but she adores being close to her people, whether that's lounging on the floor, snuggling on a chair, or resting in her bed. Her greatest joy is simply being near you, and she's sure to shower you with affection, hugs, rubs, and kisses. Lily gets along well with her foster's 17-year-old cats, often gently whining at them in hopes of a friendly interaction, though she's always respectful of their space. She's also been wonderful with the foster's 14-year-old granddaughter, suggesting that she would do well in a home with older children who understand how to interact gently with dogs. Quiet and calm, Lily rarely barks, even when the other dogs in her foster home get excited. Instead, she enjoys sitting and watching the world go by, whether it's squirrels outside the window or people passing by. She's not a fan of spending much time outdoors, preferring to use the dog door for quick trips and then returning inside. Lily would thrive in a home with people who enjoy leisurely walks and quiet evenings. She's already stolen her foster mom's heart and is ready to steal yours too.
